This Lamellar Cuirass is a faithful interpretation of one of history’s most enduring and widely used armors . Lamellar armor, which is made from rows of small, overlapping plates which are laced together, was worn for centuries by Vikings, Rus warriors, Mongols.
Handcrafted from 3 mm thick genuine leather, this cuirass is very durable and great for your training but also flexible enough for easy movement. Each leather plate is precision-cut and assembled with a traditional lamellar construction method.
This lamellar cuirass gives full coverage protection for the chest, back, and shoulders. Integrated pauldrons protect the shoulders, the torso panels enhance overall defense. A front split design gives the lamelar armor, unrestricted leg movement, making the armor comfortable for walking, fighting, or riding.
For a secure fit, the leather lamellar fastens at the sides using solid brass buckles, for size adjustment to suit different builds and styles. Available in deep black or rich brown, this piece fits easily into both historical kits and darker fantasy or LARP portrayals.
