Spike Tomahawk – Carbon Steel Spiked Viking Axe

Our handcrafted Spike Tomahawk is  inspired by traditional boarding axes, medieval spike axes, and later tactical tomahawk designs. It has a bold crescent blade and aggressive rear spike, making it ideal for collectors, reenactors, cosplay, LARP, stage use, and display.

This spiked axe is handcrafted from tough carbon steel, giving it a strong, durable, and long-lasting build. The steel head has a dark forged finish that highlights the shape of the axe. Carbon steel is valued for its toughness and ability to hold its shape well, making it one of the most trusted materials for traditional axes and tools.

The axe has a dramatic crescent-shaped blade with a deeply curved cutting edge that flares outward at both the top and bottom. This shape gives the axe a commanding appearance.

On the reverse side, the axe includes a straight diamond-section rear spike. Historically, spikes like this were used for puncturing, hooking, and controlling opponents or objects.

The long handle is crafted from genuine ash wood, a hardwood valued for axe shafts and weapon handles because of its strength, flexibility, and shock resistance. Ash wood has a naturally light, ashy appearance with visible grain patterns that give every handle a unique and natural character.
