Authentic Late Medieval Design
Our Medieval Double-Prong Buckle captures the look of late medieval craftsmanship. Unlike standard buckles, the double-prong design gives better fastening, for a secure hold that won’t loosen under weight or movement.
Sturdy Antique Brass Construction
Crafted from solid brass, each Medieval Double-Prong Buckle is durable, long-lasting, and capable of repeated daily use. The antique finish not only enhances the look but also develops a natural patina over time, adding old-world charm and a character-rich look.
Secure and Functional Double-Prong
The double-prong design has more strength than single-prong buckles, so your straps remain tightly fastened even under stress. This is especially useful for leather armor, belts carrying gear, or any historical outfit which might need reliable fastening.
Versatile DIY and Hobby Use
These Medieval Double-Prong Buckles are ideal for DIY projects, hobbyists, leatherwork, and costume design.
How to Install
Select a leather strap that fits the internal width of the buckle. Pass the end around the buckle bar and create an opening for the prong where required.
Fold the leather around the bar and secure it using appropriate stitching or leather rivets. Finally, punch adjustment holes in the opposite end of the strap and check that the buckle opens and closes properly
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wipe clean with a dry cloth after use.
- Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals.
- Store in a dry place to preserve finish.
Note: Each Medieval Double-Prong Buckle is carefully crafted from brass with an antique finish, ensuring each piece is unique. Slight variations in color and patina add authenticity and historical character to your project.
