Care Instructions
-
Washing: Machine wash at 40°C (104°F) on a gentle cycle. Turn the cloak inside out before washing to protect the embroidery
-
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Instead, reshape the cloak while damp and lay it flat or hang it to air dry naturally. This prevents shrinkage and helps preserve the fabric’s drape.
-
Bleach: Do not bleach or use harsh detergents, as these can damage the wool fibers and embroidery colors.
-
Ironing: If ironing is necessary, use low heat (wool setting) and place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid flattening the embroidery or harming the wool blend.
-
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, use a garment bag or add natural moth repellents (like cedar or lavender) to protect the wool.
