Strong Construction: The six-panel stitched design ensures a better fit around the head. The thick quilted structure gives shock absorption and helps reduce pressure from metal helmets.
Historical Purpose: In medieval times, warriors wore a padded cap under their helmets to protect the head from impact and to prevent metal edges from causing discomfort. It can be worn as a medieval cap on its own or as a padded helmet cap beneath steel helmets, bascinets etc.
