Crafted from 16-gauge steel, this reproduction mirrors the lightweight and design of the original. Its tall, crested cone shape with flared brim was not only visually distinctive but also highly practical for deflecting downward strikes, stones, and projectiles. Soldiers trusted the Morion Cabasset helmet for protection in the chaos where blows from above were constant.
