These Roman arrowheads are crafted as reproductions of ancient projectile points which were used in Roman Empire. In a set of four, each arrowhead is cast in solid bronze from the traditional lost-wax casting method, for sharp definition, crisp edges, and a museum-quality look.

Roman bronze arrowheads were used by auxiliary archers and skirmishers. Bronze resisted corrosion and could be cast efficiently in large numbers, so it was ideal for mass military supply. These arrowheads were commonly used for battlefield skirmishing and defensive fortifications.

Bronze arrowheads date back thousands of years and were used extensively by Roman, Greek, and earlier Mediterranean cultures. Roman arrowheads typically had leaf-shaped or barbed profiles, to penetrate armor gaps and shields while being lightweight and great at range.

Each arrowhead is produced from the cire perdue (lost-wax) casting technique:

  • A wax model is created in the exact final shape

  • The wax is encased in a mold

  • The wax is melted away and replaced with molten bronze

  • Once cooled, each piece is hand-finished

This process gives exceptional detail.

These bronze arrowheads are intentionally left uncoated, so that the metal developes a natural patina with time. As the bronze ages, it darkens like authentic ancient appearance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Keep dry when not in use

  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth

  • Avoid moisture if you wish to slow patina development

Notes

  • Sold as a set of 4 arrowheads

  • Uncoated bronze will naturally change color with time

  • Minor variations in tone, texture, or detail are normal due to traditional casting.
