This Natural Vikings drinking horn is made from ethically sourced natural ox horn and has a smooth polish that shows the natural look and pattern of the horn. Each horn is shaped by nature, so no two pieces ever look the same. The burned design gives a bold, traditional look inspired by Norse and medieval times.
Horn was widely used in Viking and medieval times because it was easy to shape, durable, and did not affect the taste of drinks. They often used horns for mead, ale, and water during feasts and gatherings. This tradition lives on through this Norse drinking horn , connecting you directly to the drinking culture of the past.
With a capacity of about 400 – 500 ml, this medieval drinking horn holds a sound amount of drink and is even comfortable to hold. It is suitable for cold or room-temperature drinks only. Hot liquids should not be used, as heat can cause horn to warp, crack, or lose its natural look.
This piece works perfectly as a viking horn for themed events, for collectors and display. Whether used at a feast, carried to a LARP event, or placed on display, it is both functional as well as decorative.
Each horn comes with a branded drawstring carry pouch for safe storage and transport.
