This La Milar Scale Armour is inspired by historical lamellar harnesses used across Europe and Asia for centuries—from Eastern nomadic cultures to Byzantine and Rus warriors. Hundreds of 20 gauge mild steel scales are individually riveted to a durable leather foundation, then hand-laced in tight rows.
This design offers excellent coverage and flexible articulation, making it effective against cuts while allowing a wide range of motion. The steel plates overlap for reinforcement, while the leather lacing holds everything securely in place.
Adjustable leather straps at the sides and shoulders let you customize the fit for different body sizes. The wide coverage of the torso and upper shoulders ensures formidable defense on the battlefield or in tournaments.
