Aluminium was not used in the Middle Ages, but today it is chosen for costumes and performances because it is much lighter and easier to manage. This makes this aluminium riveted chainmail perfect when visual accuracy matters more than protection.

Made from 10 mm round rings in 16 gauge aluminium, this shirt uses dome-riveted rings with alternating flat solid rings. This construction gives it the look of real medieval mail with very less weight. The bright natural finish also resembles steel without the heaviness.
