The structure has longitudinal steel splints fixed onto a strong leather base. This design helps distribute impact properly while keeping the armor lightweight and comfortable. The addition of a solid steel elbow cup (couter) provides extra protection to one of the most vulnerable joints.

The set includes three essential sections-upper arm (rerebrace), elbow protection (couter), and forearm guard (vambrace)-giving complete arm coverage in one system. Adjustable straps ensure the armor stays securely in place during movement.
