Historical Significance & Design

Medieval chainmail armor, also known as mail, is made by interlinking metal rings, creating a flexible mesh that was used to protect warriors during the Medieval and Renaissance periods. This type of armor was popular among knights and soldiers until the 14th century, when it was gradually replaced by plate armor. However, chainmail continued to be worn underneath plate armor for extra protection.

Today, chainmail armor is still used for LARP events and historical displays. Our collection has butted, riveted, and flattened mail, catering to different historical styles and preferences.

Quality & Durability

Crafted from quality materials such as mild steel, aluminum, Titanium in natural and blackened finishes, our chainmail armor is built for both durability and comfort. Each item is carefully handcrafted using traditional methods, ensuring that every piece is both historically accurate and useful for modern day.

Our chainmail coifs provide protection for the head, neck, and shoulders, while hauberks offer upper body protection, including the arms. Chausses protect the thighs, knees, and lower legs. Each item is crafted for maximum flexibility and comfort during long events or reenactments.
