Our chainmail gorget/standard is a perfect fit for your throat when you’re wearing full plate armour, making it an ideal fit for a knightly character or frontline warrior. It can be worn over your cuirass or under it.

This aventail is intricately HANDMADE from 18 gauge mild steel rings with a diameter of approx. 6 mm each, riveted using DOME RIVETS. An elite medieval look is added with the PURE SOLID BRASS RINGS bordering the entire structure of this aventail. For increased strength, the rings alternate with SOLID FLAT RINGS. This comes in a single size that fits most.
