Medieval Padded Collar Two Layered

The Medieval Padded Collar is made to protect your neck, collarbone, and upper chest, which are some of the most vulnerable areas in combat and training. It is handcrafted with a durable padding, for comfort during long hours of wear.

This collar is two-layered with eco-friendly recycled multi-fibre padding made from cotton, wool, and polyester. The padding absorbs impact while staying breathable and lightweight, so it suitable for active use. The high collar design and quilted shoulder panels help catch blows that slip past plate armor, chainmail or a gambeson.

An adjustable leather strap with a brass buckle give a secure and battle-ready fit. The design allows it to be worn under armor or on its own, making it a practical padded gorget solution for different styles of training. Whether used as a padded armor collar in layered protection or combined with a full kit, it has a mix of historical style with modern comfort.

The Medieval Padded Collar is well suited for LARP, HEMA, combat, stage fighting, and medieval events, with giving you reliable protection without restricting movement. It also pairs naturally with a gambeson collar setup for complete upper-body coverage.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30-40 °C

• Use mild detergent only

• Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals

• Air dry flat or line dry in shade

• Do not tumble dry

• Store in a cool, dry place
