Historical Significance
The gorget was a vital piece of armor in medieval Europe, historically designed to protect a warrior’s neck and throat during battle. From the 14th century onward, it became a hallmark of knights and soldiers, paired with a full suit of armor. The Classic Medieval Gorget recreates this historical piece with attention to both functionality and authentic appearance.
