Crusader Knight Sugar Loaf Helmet with Padded Liner

This Sugar Loaf Helmet shows strength and practicality of medieval headgear, to provide protection as well as comfort for long wear. Handcrafted from durable 18-gauge steel, it has the classic pointed top and narrow eye slits like the helmets of knights and soldiers from the 12th to 15th centuries. The shape  deflects sword strikes and other blows, making it one of the most reliable designs of the High Middle Ages.

The helmet has a secure padded liner, for both comfort and functionality. The liner cushions the wearer’s head, reducing impact from strikes and decreasing stress on the head in prolonged use. It also helps in a stable fit, preventing the helmet from shifting during combat or movement. To ensure added stability, the helmet is has a chin strap and buckle, it to be fastened securely during battle.

Ventilation holes are carefully positioned to provide adequate airflow, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The polished finish increases its authentic medieval appearance.
