This dodecahedron is crafted using the ancient technique of lost-wax bronze casting. Our in-house team has meticulously crafted a fusion of pure copper and tin alloy to historical proportions.
The Roman dodecahedron is a mysterious object from the Roman Empire. These small, hollow objects are twelve-sided (dodecahedral) and made of cast metal. Each of the twelve faces has a hole in it, and there’s a knob on every corner. Although more than 100 have been found across Europe, their purpose remains unknown. Various theories suggest that they were gaming pieces, religious objects, or even tools for measuring, but there is no conclusive evidence to support any of these claims. Ours is inspired by an archaeological discovery in Norton Disney, Lincolnshire, UK.
