Greek Linothorax Cuirass – Tube & Yoke

The Greek Linothorax Cuirass, is a historically inspired armor that honors the Hoplites of Athens, the warriors of Sparta, and the mighty phalanxes of Alexander the Great. Handcrafted, this cuirass has authentic design, comfort, and functionality.

Unlike the heavy bronze cuirasses of antiquity, the Linothorax was prized for its lightweight, layered construction, for excellent breathability and freedom of movement. Ours is meticulously crafted from genuine leather and strong canvas, ensuring resilience while remaining comfortable. Perfect for stage combat, LARP or display.

The cuirass is fitted with protective leather pteruges (flaps) extending from the waist, giving added defense to the groin and upper legs without hindering flexibility. At its center is a bold antique brass Gorgon Medusa emblem, a symbol of divine power and protection, tying the piece directly to the mythology and traditions of the ancient Greeks.
